Teeth Cleanings, Exams, & X-Rays

We want to ensure our patients achieve optimal oral health and then maintain it! We recommend a routine check-up every 6 months to keep an eye on your dental health and potential improvements to be made. During routine visits, our team will:

  • Thoroughly clean and polish your teeth and remove plaque and calculus.
  • Examine your mouth for any signs of gum disease.
  • Evaluate x-rays.
  • Look for signs of decay in your teeth.
  • Determine conditions of your restorations (if applicable).
  • Complete an oral cancer screening.
While it’s essential to make sure you’re on top of scheduling a check-up, it’s also imperative to keep up with healthy dental habits at home.

Periodontal Care

Many people don’t understand the risks associated with periodontal (gum) disease. The condition is caused by accumulated plaque and calculus, targeting and destroying gums, bone, and teeth. The following health problems are linked to periodontal disease that is left untreated:
  • Pregnancy complications
  • Stroke
  • Diabetes
  • High blood pressure
  • Heart disease
We’re committed to combating periodontal disease before it develops. However, if we find that you have gum disease, you can trust that we’ll deliver highly-experienced, comfortable treatment methods.
